ELTON JOHN - MADMAN ACCROSS THE WATER (12" VINYL LP

Heavy on the strings and even heavier on the dark tones, this 1971 LP (#8 U.S.) found Elton and Bernie Taupin taking on the ambition and complexity of prog rock even as they continued to amaze with their songcraft. This begins with the two hits "Tiny Dancer" and "Levon" and continues on with "Razor Face," "Indian Sunset," the title track and more spellbinding stuff. New vinyl reissue! Island.
